The cover is an artistic depiction of the results described in the paper by Tsoi et al., which suggest that anti-VEGFA therapy is effective at inhibiting growth in a granulosa cell tumor model for ovarian cancer. VEGFA inhibition acts by reducing microvascular density and cell proliferation via inhibition of the VEGFR2- MAPK pathway. Findings from this preclinical model therefore support the investigation of targeting VEGFA for the adjuvant treatment of ovarian cancer in women.
